Hi Gadgetmann01, thanks for taking the time to download our game! I'll try to re-export the file and make it compatible with android (since from memory, renpy android was in beta when we first exported it), but in the meantime, perhaps try Amoris Flores on another platform first. I'll send you a reply when the files have been reuploaded. Thanks!
The art and character's design are adorable, and it's refreshing that the characters are non-binary ^^
But, the story seems a bit of a rush; not enough detail to the human's background and their significant plant companies, and some scene may be better displayed rather than just as narration; such as the ball, the garden, or the kidnapping of the bee. Afterall, this is a nice perspective of postbellum world :)
This game is great, quite interesting. As everyone else here, I also thought the character designs were great! I should also mention that I highly enjoyed the music! I wish I'd gotten more backstory, especially with the implications at the society is dying without human sacrifices--
but I think all things considered this was a great entry! Great job completing it, and I love the title. (^:
What an interesting game! The character designs are pretty, and what we got of a story. I wish there had been more, I was left with a lot of unanswered questions. Succulent is my favorite of the 3 romancing options, and the bees are so adorable.
I really, really love this game. There character designs are so nice and well thought out. The premise is really interesting, and the story (though not very much expanded upon in this small game) is really fascinating and cool. I want to know more!! It bothered me a bit looking through the comments and not seeing people talk about Succulent at all. I loved Succulent! They're very sweet and full of puns! I played all the endings and while I loved Rose's, (I'm a sucker for cheesy romance, being swept off my feet, etc) I found it wasn't inherently as interesting as the other ones. Sure there was the scene under the tree, but it was resolved so quickly and you never really worried about the MC or even Rose's intentions. I liked the whole saving the bees/fighting the Venus Flytraps thing going on with Succulent's route, and again I want to know more! I liked Wiserias ending as well, being I understood it- I only wish there was another ending for them where I don't die! Also the music was very pretty.
I would love to see this expanded upon! I feel like this world has so much potential and could be made into something really really spectacular. With the time that you guys had, you made something great, though. I have so many questions about this world and the characters and what happens next.
I really enjoyed this game. I have to say that Wiserias ending was my favorite, perhaps because I played it last and had other information/understood their actions. It would be great to see even more about the characters (and perhaps more expressions too) and how each of them feels about their world personally.
This game is amazing! How is there no fanart on this!? It's incredible! I can't stop thinking about this great story or wondering where the rest of the lore is.
Like, where are the other humans? Will there ever be other humans? What happened to the animals? Can and should the main human character eat plant-based foods or meats in the plant society? Where are the toilets?
Sooo many questions~! I'm just itching to write a fanfiction story or draw fanart on this masterpiece to get it all out of my system! If that's okay with you guys (creators)?
Oh my gawd! i love this game! I obviously went with the rose ending and let me tell u, you did not disappoint! I would love it if u made more games with the flower people, I love them. all around amazing game only complaint, I dont have a reason to not go with rose, no weird interaction really deters you from taking roses side.
Haha, thanks for playing and loving the game! We'll definitely think about making more games... maybe we'll make another one with some familiar characters too!
Played it. :) Not sure if there are multiple endings, but I got what looks like the main one (with rose)
Loved the premise, I think the world building here is this game's strongest point. The dialogue I also enjoyed. Every character had a distinct voice and it made for some fun exchanges. By far rose is the strongest character here. They're well developed and have a level of complexity to them.
If you'd like critical feedback, I'd be more than happy to share my thoughts. But overall this was an enjoyable experience.
Thanks for playing and for leaving a comment, first of all!
Yes, there are multiple endings, though they're quite linear given the time we had at our disposal with the experience we had. World building was, by far, our favourite thing to do alongside developing each character so we're glad you liked them. :)
Please feel free to give us critical feedback! Both Prof and I would love to improve our skills and critique from players really help that along.
Sure! :) I think my biggest issue were the choices I was given. None of the alternate choices seemed at all appealing to me or really made me think too hard. The questions all kinda fell along the lines of "Be mean to Rose or continue to be nice?" If Rose acted in an odd way, or if their actions made you question their motives, then there might be some reason for doubt. As it currently stands, Rose is quite nice, so there's not much reason to choose any other path. A way to remedy this could be to just make the choices a little more ambiguous, or to somehow make the other branches look more appealing to the player.
The other area I thought could use some addition to was the scene underneath the tree towards the end. (don't wanna spoil too much in the comments here) But it came a little sudden and I felt the perpetrator could have used a little more development. Compared to everyone else's extremely strong dialogue, some of their lines felt a little out of place as well. I think this all comes with their lack of a visual identity atm. It might be cool if they're a character you were introduced to early on that you become close with, that later betrays you or uses you for their own goal (like to get closer to Rose, or access to something). A great example of this is Sayaka in Danganrompa 1.
Other than that though, really enjoyable. :) I thought you guys did great with the time you were given. Would love to see this project continued!
If you have time, I'd love it if one or more of you guys could give your thoughts on my VN game. :)

I have more of a review that can be found in my blog, along with others here: http://pajamagaming.blogspot.com/2017/01/free-itchio-games-3.html

I was wondering about Wiserias ending, is there only one ending possible? Thank you for creating this game it was fun, and different.
Thanks for playing and enjoying the game!
Yes, there's only one ending for Wisteria that we could do in the time that we had.

this is such an interesting premise, and i love the artwork; the style is lovely and the character designs are excellent!
Thanks for the compliments! We're glad you enjoyed the game :-)
I like their creepy teeth :)
Just skipping through for the art.
